September means fall fashion and this fall the fashion is fabulous!
So fabulous it deserves more than one word; something along the lines of… ridiculously feminine, romantic, charming, and sweet.
Given that, I thought it would be fun to gather the six prettiest new trends so we can chat about them over the next few weeks.
First up to bat – dots, dots, polka-dot dresses!
Although calling dots new is problematic. While writing this post, I hit up Google and discovered polka dots got their name from German polka music and made their first appearance more than 100 years ago. But for our purposes, we’ll call them new-ish.
I’m a huge fan-girl of this particular trend. They are so playful and youthful and smile-inducing. How can we be expected to resist? Put them on a dress, and they ratchet up the girly factor in a classy, classic way. (Pretty sure that’s the first time I’ve ever typed ‘classy’.)
I love this Zara slip dress because of its versatility. Paired with silver shoes and it’s the perfect night-out option. Or slip on your favorite cowboy boots and cardigan, and you’re good to go for most work environments. One dress – two looks – now, that’s what I call magical!
