I always swore I wouldn’t do a Holiday Gift Guide. I mean, your Inbox is about to explode (if it hasn’t already) with everyone’s suggestions on how to spend your money. You don’t need my opinion. Besides, I’ve never met your family and friends. Although I’m sure they’re lovely.
Plus, I’m supremely confident that you were exceptionally generous this weekend.
Which means now is the time to reward yourself for all that self-less behavior. Yeah, you!
An honest moment:
I did a little self-gifting this weekend and found something inspirational, something sweet-smelling, and something sparkly.
Here is the part where we share with the class.
Inspirational:
Here’s a link to the journal on Amazon (It’s cheaper) $12.95
Check out the Story here.
Friday found me at Story. Now, if you’re not familiar with Story, it’s a pop-up shop inside a few Macy’s stores. They change themes and merchandise every season and spotlight small brands and unique items. I hadn’t checked it out since they switched over to the holidays, and there was a ton of gifty stuff. I ended up leaving with this journal and am starting this ‘awesome’ journey today.
Sweet-Smelling:
Need this soap??? You can check it out here.
Nordstrom $28
How exciting to find Nordstrom is carrying Compagnie de Provence Liquid Soap! I used to buy this all the time and then suddenly couldn’t find it anywhere. There are so many things I love about this brand.
Packaging:
I’m a sucker for great presentation, and this oversized (16.9 oz) heavy-duty glass bottle screams bougie and decadent. Put that in a bathroom, and you’ve just seriously up-leveled the whole handwashing experience. And your guests will love it. Perfect since this month we’re entertaining more than usual.
Flavors:
Grapefruit is my jam, especially theirs, because it’s so authentically grapefruit, clean, and refreshing. However, there are a bunch of other options if citrus doesn’t rev you up.
Fun:
All things Bauble Bar can be found here…
When I cruised through Bloomingdale’s on my way to the parking garage, I realized the majority of their Bauble Bar jewelry was on sale! Whoop! Whoop!
Now, these may not be available. But check out your local store (or .com), and I bet there is something equally sparkly and festive available.
Just think how great they’ll look with all of your holiday outfits.
What were your favorite self-gifts this weekend?
What??? You didn’t indulge!
Never fear – it’s not too late. And always remember, charity begins at home.
Go get ‘em, tiger.
‘Til next week.
Hugs and happy shopping.
Miss last week’s post??? Click here to catch up.

I am definitely a purchaser of liquid hand soap – can’t wait to try this one out!!
Black Friday shopping with my daughter I was nervous I wasn’t marking enough off my list of gifts. Avery put it in perspective when she said,
“oh, today is for us, I buy all my gifts for everyone on-line “. After that it was game on…………
As always, thanks for the great ideas!!
Avery is right on! And talk about taking the pressure off – perfection.
You are going to love the soap. It is bonkers! Nordstrom carries a lot of their items, but check out the website for even more goodies. Enjoy!

I’ve been surfing on-line greater than 3 hours nowadays, yet I never found
any interesting article like yours. It’s beautiful price sufficient for me.
In my view, if all web owners and bloggers made excellent content material as you probably did, the web can be much more useful than ever before.
Thanks so much Jodi! What an amazing compliment. Stop by anytime 🙂
