I never thought I’d be a proponent of face masks. However, I started thinking about all the benefits and am now fully on board.
Benefits like:
- We’re going to save a ton of money on lipstick and Altoids
- We’re going to save a ton of time since we only need to apply make-up to the top part of our face.
- And finally, it’s actually just a new accessory that we can collect and coordinate. Like handbags and jewelry. And what’s not to love about that?
Now, having said that, if this is going to be the new thing, we can’t keep reusing the cheap paper mask we’ve recycled for the last month.
So, in preparation, I hunted down the best places for us to go to start our mask wardrobing.
And here they are…
For you Girly Girls:
Love Shack Fancy. The floral prints are so feminine and sweet, and I love the contrasting straps. The only downside is that you can’t pick your pattern. Although since they’re all charming, I think we’re safe to go with the packer’s choice.
I couldn’t resist including this girly number. Talk about perfect for Spring!
For Preppy Girls:
This striped blue number is available at J. Crew. These are different enough to be fun, but still neutral enough to go with most items in your closet.
For Classy Chicks:
Zazzle literally has a bazillion cute masks to choose from. I’m including the link here so you can take a peek at all your options.
Zazzle also offers a print-your-own option where you can add a customized picture or personalize the name. Sort of reminds me of kindergarten when our moms had to sew our names on everything.
For All You Glamour Girls:
It’s pink glitter – need I say more?
For All You Edgy Girls:
I ordered this one from Amazon and it’s supposed to be delivered tonight. I’ll let you know if it turns out being as cute as it looks.
And Finally, For The Ninjas:
I ordered this one for Rich, but they’re available in women’s sizes too. What I love about this one is that the elastic straps are adjustable. They have this tiny metal washer that keeps it as tight or as loose as you want.
Still haven’t fallen in love with the available options?
You can always take a stab at making your own. Before you do, though, check out this hysterical video. It’ll definitely make you laugh and likely decide to click add-to-cart on a pre-made version.
Put A Bow On it:
Alright, sunshine! No matter what your style, there is a mask that’ll fit.
