I hear coral, and it strikes fear in my heart and bombards me with flashbacks of my Grandma’s favorite Estee Lauder lipstick.
So, I get it. You’re thinking, nope, coral is never going to happen. I don’t like orange, and it doesn’t like me.
But, wait!
This season coral and pink had an illicit affair and morphed coral into coral-pink. A bright, pretty, fresh shade that is so much more modern than in previous seasons.
Having said that, there is a word of caution…
While I like us to know about trends, I don’t think we need to jump on every bandwagon that cruises past. However, if you decide to add a pretty pop of this popular Spring color to your wardrobe, here are some oh-so-charming options.
(By the way, I broke them down by category, so you can skip right to your signature accessory.)
Jewelry:
These are so glamorous and sparkly. And for those of us with a rounder face, the long length is extremely flattering.

Handbags:
Honestly, there are so many coral-pink options this season it was tough narrowing it down. But I tried to include an option for everyone, no matter your style.
Perfect for all you rocking a Boho vibe. It also includes a shoulder strap if you prefer to go hands-free.
I love love love a good backpack. And this one is awesome! It’s large enough to hold your laptop and/or tablet while maintaining a slim profile. The black straps are a great touch and stop it from looking too-sweet & bubble-gummy.
Studs make everything better & slightly edgy. The silver hardware is a fresh touch & can be super hard to find. Plus, if cross body bags are your jam, then you’re going to love this adjustable shoulder strap.
Coral-pink is gorgeous. Make it patent leather? Boom – it magically turns even prettier.
Shoes:
The perfect solution if you’re looking to add the color of the season to your wardrobe, but aren’t super duper excited about having it near your face.
Now, if you read last summer’s Espadrille post, then you already know about the girl-crush I have on this summer classic. And the higher heel makes this so much more versatile than a flat sole. This’ll be super charming for casual Fridays at the office.
Speaking of the office. If you still need to snag your copy of 5 Essential You Need To Look Amazing At The Office, you can grab it here.
I couldn’t resist throwing in one of my wardrobe staples – Jessica Simpson’s platform sandals. I own nearly every color she’s ever introduced, and this coral-pink number is the latest. Totally reminds me of orange sherbet. And great news for you, it’s now on sale! Snag a pair while they last.
And for you fellow patent leather fans – a sexy strappy option. When I saw them, all I could think is how cute they’ll be with a navy/white wrap dress. Bonkers!
Scarves:
Because the popularity of scarves continues to explode – here are a couple of fun casual options.
Long scarves in thick material can get way too hot and bulky for Spring, but this whisper-soft fabric avoids that style kerfunkle.
If you’re blonde or have a warmer skin tone, seriously consider this little creation. It will look amazing on you and add a sassy pop to any beige or khaki outfit.
