hello!

This content has been archived. It may no longer be relevant

For the last couple of years, fall has hit, and suddenly it’s all mustard and oxblood (aka burgundy) everywhere you turn. While fall fashion is just the best, I could never get into the whole oxblood thing. Mostly because it brings to mind some ancient pagan ceremony that requires a livestock sacrifice. And as far as mustard goes – I’m going to go out on a limb and say unless you’re a natural redhead yellow probably isn’t your most flattering color.

Green Is Glorious

So yeah us! Because designers this season decided to mix it up and make green the go-to color. And not just any green, but every green. Every shade from mint to hunter. Which means there is absolutely a shade that’s going to look fabulous on you.

Top Picks

If you decide to add this lovely shade to your repertoire, I gathered some favorites below.

Refreshing As An Altoid

Mint Green Cos Dress

I actually bought two dresses – both this shade and both from Cos, my new store obsession. Here are the links.

For the one in the picture…

With so much going on at the bottom of this dress, I kept the styling simple; crystal earrings, beige stilettos, and the white & silver link necklace looped twice to make a choker.

And then a fun and easy shirt dress that looks fantastic with white stacked sneakers.

Olives – Not Just for Cocktails

The store was out of my size, so I ordered it on-line and am anxiously awaiting the arrival. Just a heads-up, if you haven’t shopped Cos before, please keep in mind the shoulders and bust typically run a tad small. Order a size up, and I think you’ll be happier.

Be All That You Can Be

Free People Military Jacket

I have last year’s version and just love it! Endless ways to style it, and it can turn a dull, conservative dress into an absolute show stopper. Not to mention, Free People items are inherently timeless, which makes them a smart girl investment.

Because no post would be complete with something sparkly

Is this necklace amazing or what!?! If after all this chatter green still isn’t your jam, it is available in other colors.
Alright, ladies! That’s all for this week. I hope you had as much fun as I did.
‘Til Next Time.
Hugs and happy shopping.
